Our property in direct booking here, consists of 5 studios and 3 houses, each accommodating 3-4 people comfortably, offering a total capacity for up to 22 guests. Ideal  for group accomodation in separate houses.

Nestled in the charming village of Douliana, just 22 km east of Chania city, lies an idyllic retreat that’s perfect for couples and small families seeking a peaceful escape away from the crowds.

Douliana is a traditional Greek village, honored with the prestigious title of “NATURA” national conservation area for its outstanding natural beauty. Agriculture remains the heart of this village, providing a picturesque backdrop for your stay.

As the seasons change, you’ll enjoy captivating views of olive and orange groves in winter, lush vegetables and fruits in summer, and bountiful grapevines in autumn. Within the village, you’ll find two taverns serving delectable Cretan cuisine, as well as a charming mini-market offering local products.

Our property is ideally situated for beach enthusiasts. A scenic village road, flanked by lush forests, leads you to the nearest sandy shores. KERA Beach, just 2.5 km away, invites you to relax by the crystal-clear waters. Only 3 km further, you’ll discover the captivating beaches of Almirida and Kalives, where you can find Super Markets, newspapers, restaurants, bars, and a sporting activities center to enhance your seaside experience.

Property Description:

Our property offers a total of 5 cozy studios and 3 charming houses, providing a serene haven for a total capacity of 22 guests. Each studio is thoughtfully designed to comfortably accommodate up to 3 persons in a spacious room equipped with all the necessary facilities. You’ll find a full bathroom and a convenient kitchen corner, as well as private balconies to soak in the tranquil surroundings.

Proximity : 2 Km From Vamos, 3 Km From Kalives, 2,5 Km from the sea, 0,05 Km from shops.

Your stay:

Before your arrival you get full driving directions, personal welcome contact. In the house, you will find all the necessary items for a full breakfast the next morning (coffee, milk, tea, orange juice, toast, jam).

To book :  20% of total value is needed. Through a bank transfer

Procedure : When you make a definitive reservation , we send you a reservation voucher-road indications. Then you can send the deposit .The rest, payment in cash on your arrival.

We had a lovely apartment, spacious and cool (air con is great!), huge double room above living (and kids’ sleeping) space. Quiet village, not at all ‘touristy’, and a really peaceful place to stay. We had a terrace outside the bedroom, great spot to sit in the evening and watch the sun set over Souda bay.

Ground floor terrace with patio furniture, lovely spot to eat (although apartment cooking facilities are very limited – don’t stay here if you’re the sort who loves to cook on holiday!).

Clean, sheets and towels were changed about every 3 days, washing machine in communal office area. Friendly owner who responded very quickly to text messages about minor issues. Pool was larger than we expected, very clean and well maintained with plenty of loungers and umbrellas. Lovely setting, well maintained and lots of flowers around so very pretty.

Excellent, good value family-run taverna right next door – some quiet music in the evening, but won’t disturb (except the night we were there and they had a very noisy wedding reception until the small hours!!). Our boys (10 and 13) loved it, especially the pool.

Easily reached from Crete’s (one!) main road and a very easy drive to many local attractions (beaches, ancient sites, lovely city of Chania, lake Kournas – fantastic pedalos and kayaks, excellent taverna, glass making in Kokkino Xoria, lovely local villages – small folk museum in Gavalochori is worth a look). Our first time on Crete, but will definitely go back to this place!

“As a young family of 4 we really enjoyed our two week stay. We had lots of space inside and outside the property for the children to play. However, I wouldn’t recommend for children under 4 years old, due to the stairs and balconies. The accommodation is functional but basic. The location is tricky to find but beautiful. The photos of the property really don’t do it justice.

The children spent many hours in the pool and they both learnt to swim during our stay as we often had it to ourselves. It was great to have the Taverna at the back for easy meals and the owner was very friendly. This is a great location to explore the area but you will need a car. A great holiday that we will remember fondly for many years to come.”
